The CYC Jr. Golf League is entering its fifth year. Over the years, the program has grown from 80 to 400 kids. Our goal for this program is to introduce the game of golf to all boys and girls in grades 2 – 8 in a family, fun, educational, and slightly competitive atmosphere. Golf will engage them for a lifetime journey teaching such valuable lessons as honesty, integrity, sportsmanship and perseverance. So, grab a friend and come join us for our best year yet!
The league consists of two parts; Instruction at the range and playing 9-holes of golf.
INSTRUCTION SESSION:
Time: Wednesday /1 Hr / Once a week - Times to be determined
Dates: March 21, 28, April 4, 11, 18, 25, May 2
Costs: $63.00
Where: The First Tee Driving Range (Lemay and Meramec Bottom)
Additional costs due at our pre-season meeting: $40.00 Individual Range Card earns $45.00 credit. Enough balls to cover all 7 lessons (90 balls ea.)
PLAYING SESSION:
Tee Times: Saturday (Morning) 7 & 9:00 am and possibly 11am
Approx.Dates: 2-4 Grades April 21, 28, May 12 & 19
5-8 Grades April 14, 21, 28 & May 5, 12, 19
Costs: $40.00 (2-4 Grades) - $60.00 (5-8 Grades)
Where: Riverside Par 3 and Tower Tee Par 3 courses
SOUTH COUNTY CYC CHAMPIONSHIPS-Sat. 6/9. @ Tower Tee G.C.
For 5th-8th Grade golfers only. Must qualify to be eligible.
CITY-COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIPS-Sat. 6/23 @ Tower Tee G.C.
Top golfers that qualify at the South County Championships.
